On this Veteran’s Day, I would like to invite all AISD colleagues to join me in honoring and thanking our military veterans, especially those who are AISD employees, for their great and valuable service to our country, to our families, and to our way of life. To those of you who have risked life and limb, who have suffered physical and mental losses, who have dreamed of home and family from distant and hostile lands, who have served with honor and courage, and who now spend your days doing your part to educate the children of this school district, we say THANK YOU.
