A Day Full of Favorites: Parents, Students and Lasagna

Today, I got to see some of my favorite people, eat at one of my favorite spots, and enjoy some of the best service in town!

Members of the Austin Council of Parent Teacher Associations, or ACPTA, filled Travis High School’s Hospitality and Culinary Arts Dining Room for the fall General Meeting. While being served a great meal of lasagna, salad, and star-sugared brownies, the ACPTA conducted their business and asked me questions.

Thanks to ACPTA President Amber Elenz, her dedicated officers, and all of the ACPTA members who joined us today. And, of course, a big thank you to all of the Travis High Culinary Arts and Hospitality Program teachers and students, and their principal, Ty Davidson, for working so hard to make today’s meeting a success. Go Rebels!
